Fuqi (Avril) Cui

Hi, I am Avril Cui! I am a freshman at MIT studying computer science. I am a so-called full-stack developer - working with Python, Next.js, Typescript, and SQL, etc. I am interested in software engineering as well as ML&AI research/applications. At school, I am part of HackMIT, MEC, and AI@MIT lab and reading group.

I am the founder of Aspect, a website that gamifies financial learning, helped thousands of users learn financial literacy and investment strategies by competing in an original, interactive, simulated economy . Last summer, I worked as frontend engineering intern at Tencent, where I programmed automatic update, user management, and online transaction features on Tencent fin-tech department's Business Pay products, including app, website, and software development kit.
